New Jack City is one of the most iconic movies for the urban culture. New Jack City depicted the killer crack era that destroyed the 80's. It has also been revealed that Snowfall writer Maclom M. Mays will be involved in this project as well. The original New Jack City was released in 1991 and it had a budget of only $8 Million dollars and grossed over $64 Million. The Mario Van Peebles directed New Jack City featured some notable actors such as Wesley Snipes, Ice-T, and Chris Rock.
