HHO: Introduce yourself to the fans
Static Spaz: Yooo, what’s up everyone my name is Static Spaz
HHO: How did your artist name come about?
Static Spaz: Static was a nickname I had back in high school when I had braces. Spaz came later from folks that heard me rap so I just merged the two names and went with that
HHO: Where are you from?
Static Spaz: Im from Quitman, Georgia. A small country town in South Georgia
HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?
Static Spaz: My main influences were The Hot Boys and Outkast.
HHO: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?
Static Spaz: I listened to a lot of artists as a kid but the main albums I remember playing over and over was 400 Degreez by Juvenile, Tha Carter by Wayne, and Trap Muzik by TI
HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?
Static Spaz: Right now im promoting a song called “Above The Brim”
HHO: How did the record come about?
Static Spaz: I was just kicking it with my producer LB while he was making the beat and I was drawn to it immediately. It’s one of those beats that just made me want to rap so I did just that. No hook at all.
HHO: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?
Static Spaz: I’ve always wanted to collaborate with Sleepy Brown, Cee-Lo, Andre 3k, and Lil Wayne. That would be better than winning a Grammy to me haha
HHO: Are you currently touring or have any upcoming shows?
Static Spaz: Nah, Im not doing any of that stuff right now because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I ain trippin though as long as I can still connect with people that care about my music.
HHO: How is the response from your fans & djs been?
Static Spaz: I’ve been receiving a lot of love and praise from everyone. I really appreciate it cause I put a lot of thought and effort into my music.
HHO: What artists do you listen to the most?
Static Spaz: Three that I can think of off the top of my head would be Lil Wayne, 2Pac, and 6lack.
HHO: What are your plans for 2020? What are you doing that others are not?
Static Spaz: I just plan on releasing music more often. My past releases had too much space between them so this time around I’m going to be more efficient and visible.
HHO: How can your fans reach you?
Static Spaz: Follow me on Instagram and Twitter (@StaticSpaz). I respond to everyone so don’t be afraid to speak.
HHO: Any last words or shout outs?
Static Spaz: Shout out to my producer LB ThatProducerGuy, and all peoples. I’d be here all day if I started calling out names haha. Also, Free C. Venus.
