HHO: Introduce yourself to the fans

Aima Vittori: The name’s Aima Vittori (David Baronik Moga), I’m a 21 year old HipHop artist. I’ve been doing music “seriously” for quite some time now
(About 5 years). I’ve won 1st & 2nd place on coast2coast biggest artist showcase in the world Amsterdam edition in 2017 with the co-founder of our 6VN6 movement (soon to be record label ) – Purp Kobain. I also went trending on worldstarhiphop not a while ago. I’ve performed countless times , all over my country , Prague , Amsterdam , Croatia… I like to think of myself as a branched out artist – never wanting to limit myself with a specific taste or sound. I could say I “feel music”.

HHO: How did your artist name come about?

Aima Vittori: My name originates from my previous name IC-AIMA , meaning “IC”- as in “ICY” or “I see” and Aima means blood in latin. So Aima Vittori came kind of naturally to me, it rolls off the tongue really smooth, plus, my brand name is Vittori, so I just kind of wanted everything in the same place.

HHO: Where are you from?

Aima Vittori: I’m from Slovenia, Maribor but I’m not pure Slovenian. I’m such a mutt to be honest, mixed with Latin, Slovenian and Tartar blood.

HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?

Aima Vittori: I grew up on oldschool cats such as Wutang, NWA, Mos Def, Nas, Immortal Technique, Eminem, 50 Cent, Pac&Biggie, Vinnie Paz, Mobb Deep, Kris Kross ..I could go on forever. I never really had an “idol” to be honest, I believe “idolizing” somebody will subconsciously make you do similar things – In this case , make you do similar music. That being said , both of my parents are dancers , so I was naturaly drawn to dancing too … And I loved Chris Brown. His music, passion , everything. I could say he really influenced me in a way. Also Kendrick Lamar, Juicy J, Kid Cudi, Asap Rocky and Xxxtentacion had a big impact on me. But like I said before , I’m a really branched out artist and it’s the same with my taste of music. I also grew up on Jazz &Blues and some Metal & Rock. For instance – Pantera , Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch will always be on casual playlist.

HHO: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?

Aima Vittori: Illmatic, It was written, Get rich or die tryin’, The Massacre, Straight outta compton, Enter the Wu-Tang & Wu-Tang forever, The Slim Shady LP & The Marshall Mathers LP, All Eyez on me & The don Killuminati & Me against the world … I could really go on forever. I was an epic music nerd. Once I listened to one album I just went headfirst into another one… Constantly switching my favorites …

HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?

Aima Vittori: My current single is “Nonchalant”. Although I can’t wait to release my new songs.

HHO: How did the record come about?

Aima Vittori: I was in the studio with my crew and we were just messing around with different sounds and beats…My producer hit a certain flow and I just went with it. It was this specific flow and it came naturaly I guess.

HHO: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?

Aima Vittori: Right Now ? If metroboomin or Ronny J would produce my beat I’d lose my s**t. When it comes to artists… My dream collab would be either Asap Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, XXXTentacion ( RIP X ), Tory Lanez & NBA YoungBoy.

HHO: Are you currently touring or have any upcoming shows?

Aima Vittori: I’m not touring at the moment but yes, I do have a couple of upcoming shows. One of them being one of the biggest ones next month.

HHO: How is the response from your fans & djs been?

Aima Vittori: It’s been great. Truly great. I love my fans and all the people who support me. Growing up in a such “nobody knows about it” country, it felt scary to even dream about it. Now it’s just going to be a badass story.

HHO: What artists do you listen to the most?

Aima Vittori: Right now I listen to alot of the new guys, I’m always trying to broaden my music horizons. NBA Youngboy, Lil Baby, Tory Lanez, A boogie, YG YNW Melly, TrenchMobb, RJ, Lil Durk, Asap, 6ix9ine .. Started listening to Tyga & Juicy J again also Bryson Tiller and Jeremih. There are so much artists I listen to nowadays , this would really be a long list. It also depends on my mood , I could be banging straight trap music and switch to metal or jazz in a minute.

HHO: What are your plans for 2019? What are you doing that others are not?

Aima Vittori: If you ask anybody who really knows me … I’m a hustler. I grind hard and enjoy the fruits of my labour even harder… ( Yea I’m addicted to spending money and then regreting it lol )

So this year I’ll grind harder than ever before. I’m releasing a bunch of singles, features and even an album. Most of them are already worked on and I’m just waiting for the right time to drop them. Me and my team will also go touring Europe if everything goes as planned.
