Under Armour All-American wide receiver Cordell Broadus of Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) committed to the Bruins over the Sun Devils and Trojans. Broadus is ranked No. 130 overall in the ESPN 300.

ESPN has been running a special on Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus over the last few weeks. Snoop and Son: A Dad’s Dream focuses on the father and son’s relationship as the four-star college football recruit pursues a professional career. In the show, Snoop also makes a big deal about Cordell playing for Snoop’s beloved USC Trojans. Well Snoop’s dreams have been crushed, as Cordell announced his decision to commit to UCLA earlier this afternoon in honor of National Signing Day.

Cordell’s decision to commit to UCLA is the second we’ve heard today. Soso Jamabo, one of the most highly-touted prospects, hopped on Twitter this morning to share his excitement about becoming a Bruin, cleverly quoting Childish Gambino in the process. Cordell will also be joining Diddy’s son Justin Combs, who plays for UCLA’s program as well.
