At the start of 2020, Los Angeles rapper Presidentrj released his first extended-length project. Following the project’s release, the rising artist began to find some underground success throughout Los Angeles and subsequently dropped a handful of singles to build off the prosperity, he found with his project. Now, looking to further his strides out of the underground scene and into a more prominent place in the hip-hop industry, Presidentrj is setting himself with his latest single “DO IT”
“My songs give listeners an idea of what life is like in the streets and what a lot of people have to go through to survive,” Presidentrj says that “DO IT” is one of his greatest tracks to date. It is a fast-paced; up-tempo beat that Presidentrj articulates his melodic flow. Following his eviction in March of 2019, Presidentrj spent time homeless in the city of LA. Struggling to make ends meet for his everyday needs, the artist began to write about his experiences in hopes of being able to get back into the studio one day.
Sharing stories of relationship fallouts, daily hustles, and life on the streets is what Presidentrj is known for. “I feel like a lot of people will be able to relate the place I come from,” the LA rapper shares. “I want people to understand the process I took to get where I am at today,” he continues to step up his game and deliver with each drop. “DO IT” just brushes the surface of what is possible for Presidentrj.
