First Look at Nike SB’s Dunk Low “Pink Pig”POSTED ON:

As the year comes to an end, Nike SB shows no signs of slowing down. For its latest sneaker, the Swoosh brand is rumored to be releasing the Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Pig,” a suede-covered sneaker indebted to the design of Porsche‘s 917/20 race car that featured during the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Porsche’s race car gained its name because of its apt colorway which then sported a design that named the car’s panels after body parts according to the butcher-style cuts of a pig. Nike takes a more direct approach, but by no means is it subtle.
Covered in blush pink suede, the Dunk Low is contrasted with red stitching all around as a further nod to Porsche’s anatomical sectioning of its bodywork. More red stitching allows the tonal Swoosh emblem to stand out against its matching blush pink base, while at the rear we find red-embroidered Nike branding alongside a heel tab stitched with more red detailing.
The theme is continued to the padded mesh tongue, where you’ll spot a tongue tag mixing both of the core colors. Rounding out the pair is a signature SB sole unit in white with a black outsole, which is finished with a pink Nike SB touch on the bottom.
It is rumored that the Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Pig” will release on Nike’s website and at select SB stockists sometime early next year. Take a closer look at the pair above.
