Ja Rule’s Fyre Festival A Huge Disaster In Exuma, Bahamas! Concert Goers Stranded On Island
POSTED ON:Apr 28 2017
Well if you haven’t been on Twitter today you should definitely do so and check the hashtag #FyreFestival in which was put together by Ja Rule. The Fyre Festival ranged from $1k to $12k per person with packages up to $250,000 promising luxury villas, gourmet food, along with acts such as Blink 182, Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Major Lazer, and more.
Once concert goers arrived in the Bahamas they were told to leave their luggage and hop on a bus to their “luxury” accomodations. When they arrived they found a strip of left over USAid tents left over from diaster relief.
According to the concert goers:
The beer stands were empty and the “gourmet food” turned out to be 2 pieces of bread and 2 pieces of cheese. The kitchen looks like what you would get when you’re camping in the wilderness. Security lockers had no locks.
The concert was promoted by Instagram models, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and many more models and influencers. There is no telling if they were just paid to promote the event regardless of how the turn out was.
The headlining acts have all began to back out of the concert such has Blink 182

Some are comparing the concert to Hunger Games as many wealthy millenials got coerced to purchasing tickets to a festival that some IG models influenced them. The event was even promoted by Vogue who wrote “Move over Coachella there’s a new hot ticket that’s got us all headed down south.”
Here are some more tweets and photos from #FyreFestival in Exuma.

So Fyre Fest is a complete disaster. Mass chaos. No organization. No one knows where to go. There are no villas, just a disaster tent city. pic.twitter.com/1lSWtnk7cA

Some are saying Ja Rule has completed the biggest scam of the year by putting on the Fyre Festival, and were pretty sure he is going to find himself in court very soon for his festival although he apparently donated all the money to charity! The concert has officially been cancelled after the first day and it seems everyone is trying to find out how to get their money back
