HHO: Introduce yourself to the fans

Foolish Proxy: So my artist name is Foolish Proxy. I am 26 and I been rapping for 10 years

HHO: How did your artist name come about?

Foolish Proxy: I felt that I made lots of foolish Decisions in my life, so I named myself Foolish, but when you just google foolish it would be impossible for me to show up on first page. So then I thought I should add a second name and wanted it to be different, but also make sense so I added Proxy and the proxy I meant was like a substitute. So I am a Foolish Substitute lol

HHO: Where are you from?

Foolish Proxy: I am from Calgary Alberta Canada

HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?

Foolish Proxy: Honestly this my may sound different but no one musically influenced me growing up I mean I listened to music, but it never did anything for me I was into Lego and video games. I wasn’t influenced by music until like 20 years old

HHO: What hip-hop albums did you grow up listening to?

Foolish Proxy: None, my family never listened to Hip-Hop, but one Hip-Hop album really inspired me from the last few years was. Mick Jenkins – The Waters

HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?

Foolish Proxy: It is a Single called Music is Life. It has a very unique chill beat from French Producer Saavane it’s on Soundcloud and Spotify now

HHO: How did the record come about?

Foolish Proxy: Well I kept thinking that a lot of rap songs have beats that sound similar or have familiar drums or synths to it. So when I heard this beat it sounded deeper then most rap beats and It gives you a feeling of serenity. This song made me feel that Music is Life and made me feel like this is the soundtrack to my life

HHO: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?

Foolish Proxy: Mick Jenkins or Joyner Lucas because I feel like lyrically I connect with them. So yeah if any one knows Mick hook me up and Drink more water lol

HHO: Are you currently touring or have any upcoming shows?

Foolish Proxy: I got a show in Las Vegas I got offered to perform at again, dates not set though I do want to tour more I am looking for more connections to help me find opportunities to open for shows.

HHO: How is the response from your fans & djs been?

Foolish Proxy: It is actually very good, everyone seems to like my Lyrics and style I noticed I never really get bad feedback. I get lots of positive feedback my biggest thing is I need more hype n exposure So I am glad to be doing this interview this should help

HHO: What artists do you listen to the most?

Foolish Proxy: Mick Jenkins. Alex Wiley and Isaiah Rashad

HHO: What are your plans for 2018? What are you doing that others are not?

Foolish Proxy: To actually get noticed by the Hip Hop community and to get some hype on more rap blogs and What am I doing that others are not?
Well there is so many people in this world, I don’t know what everyone is doing
But I know I am staying 100 percent sober. No alcohol or drugs I want to be 100 percent Sober and Make very conscious raps that make you think deep about things
