Introduction:

Dubs Dollah: Hey World I’m “The 1” and only Dubs Dollah born and raised in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn; Home to some of Hip-Hops Greatest. I’m not a man of many words, Well maybe I am; But check the music out. It’s always easier to express yourself through the music.

HHO: How did your artist name come about?

Dubs Dollah: Well my first name is William and I wanted a letter for my nickname, Like a person named Daryl would be called D; But William starts with a “W” (That’s Double U) that just sounds crazy, So everybody called me Dubs. Like I said I’m from Bed Stuy so you had to resort to “Gettin Money” Pun intended so Dollah followed suit to the name, There you go World it’s “Dubs Dollah”

HHO: Who were your musical influences growing up?

Dubs Dollah: Biggie, Jay-Z, I love Tupac now, But back then I didn’t like em at all; He had beef with BIG and I’m Brooklyn to the death. The Lox, 50 Cent, I could go on for days. I’m really a music head so if its good music then I like it.

HHO: What Hip-Hop albums did you grow up listening to?

Dubs Dollah: Ready To Die, Life After Death, All of Jay-z’s albums, 50’s first album was the soundtrack to my life back then LMAOO… Busta was different so I always respected him, Just good music like I said before.

HHO: What is the current single/project that you are promoting?

Dubs Dollah: My current single is called “We Getting Money” and you can get it anywhere music is available, Everybody should go listen and download that “Dat’s LAW” lol

HHO: How did the record come about?

Dubs Dollah: My Brother/Manager sent me the track it was produced by Dj NayDee out in Long Island by the way. Shout out to him. When I heard it I lost my mind and recorded it the same day, I knew that record was “It” and hopefully the rest
makes history.

HHO: What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?

Dubs Dollah: That’s easy… Dubs Dollah Featuring Jay-Z on a 808 Mafia track, Now that would be “EPIC”.

HHO: Are you currently touring or have any upcoming shows?

Dubs Dollah: No tour as of yet, My Manager is actually in talks right now with Lexani rims for me to open up for E40 at The Chateau Night Club inside of the Paris Hotel out in Vegas. That’s suppose to go down 11/11/2017 I hope to see y’all there, Shout out to Carlos of Lexani Wheels and TJ. I do perform every week in my current home of Atlanta, Ga; I’m pretty popular out here so if you ever in the “A” scream at me. I’m out here somewhere lol

HHO: How is the response from your fans and Dj’s been?

I will go back to the hood after just leaving an I-heart or Summer Jam Event, That’s where I’m from my family is there where I’m most comfortable. My music tells my real story so the fans are people just like me that could understand every word. We all go through the struggle and you feel that in my music that’s why I have so much real fan support.

HHO: What artist do you listen to most?

DubsDollah: Currently I’m banging Derez De’Shon not just cause he’s my brother(not literally) But because his music is amazing and he’s a stand up guy…100it Gang For life. R.I.P. Yung Mazi. Y’all know I’m gonna always throw Jay-Z on that never gets old. Ummm who else Oh yeah I’m also listening to Yung Baller y’all gonna hear of him sooner than later, Who else is I have in my playlist Fab, Rocko, Meek Mill there’s a lot of good music out.

HHO: What are your plans for 2017? What are you doing that others are not?

Dubs Dollah: My plan has always been just to get my own platform and build my own brand that supports away for me and my family and what I do that most established musicians don’t is uplift each other I help you help me we can all eat. When your too competitive you get distracted to what your suppose to be enjoying, Which is the journey and the success.
